Thank you to White Peacock Styled Events for inviting Vine Knot to participate in the Summer Style Showcase at the Houndstooth Boutique in Eden Prairie. We had a blast working with Kristin Codding of Sip.Savor.Style.
The guests looked like they had a wonderful time enjoying the magnificent clothing that Amber Toste, Owner of the Boutique, was displaying last evening. The food, wine and ‘skinny’ cocktails were well received also.
Below are some shots of the event…
Chef
Any green vegetable that just came from the ground can be turned sublime by the simple technique of blanching.
Simply put, blanching is where a salted pot of water is brought to a boil, the vegetables are thrown into that pot, and then are given a bath in an ice cold solution of lightly seasoned ice water. This retains not only the bright color of the veggies, but the nutrients as well.
